Es Devlin transforms Faena Beach into a mesmerizing landscape of memory with The Library of Us, a 50-foot-wide kinetic sculpture that rotates like a slow, shimmering compass of human experience. The triangular bookshelf holds 2,500 books that shaped Devlin’s artistic world, illuminated and mirrored as it turns within a circular reflecting pool. Guests are invited to sit at a collective reading table arranged with her annotated volumes, creating a quiet, communal moment amid the week’s energetic pace. The installation evokes the spirit of Karl Lagerfeld’s illustration of the five Fendi sisters—a celebration of creativity expressed through exquisite, artisanal mastery.
3. MIAMI DESIGN DISTRICT — A Neighborhood for Fashion, Art & Design Lovers
The Miami Design District shines as a cultural destination year-round, but during Art Week, the neighborhood becomes an immersive playground for fashion and design lovers. 4. ART FROM THE EYE OF INDIA — Curated by Nina Magon with Masaba Gupta & Rupi Kaur
Art From the Eye of India brings a powerful, multidimensional celebration of Indian creativity to Art Basel Miami. Curated and hosted by interior designer Nina Magon alongside fashion visionary Masaba Gupta and globally celebrated poet Rupi Kaur, the showcase unfolds at the reimagined Shelborne by Proper. Guests are immersed in a glowing Mughal-inspired setting illuminated by hundreds of candles as they experience Gupta’s 20-piece capsule of fashion and jewelry, Kaur’s moving live poetry, and a performance by Sa Dance Company. While this is a private event, its aim to reframe India as a dynamic contemporary influence in global art and design—rich in color, expression, and storytelling—is a must on this list.
5. WYNWOOD ARTS DISTRICT — Art With Me & Daniel Popper’s AEONIUM
Wynwood’s artistic pulse reaches new heights during Miami Art Week as murals, galleries, and activations energize every block. One highlight is Art With Me, a two-day immersive festival at Mana Wynwood that blends large-scale art, music, and community experiences. Daniel Popper comes to the Wynwood District this year with his latest powerful sculpture titled Lumen, inspired by the area’s vibrant history and spirit. By day, it reveals its earthy shades; by night, projection mapping brings the figure to life in a luminous, shifting display.
