Rihanna, known all over the world is a singer, businesswoman, fashion designer and actress. In 2017, launched her Fenty makeup range with LVMH’s Kendo. In 2018, she launched Savage x Fenty lingerie. And this year, she launched a ready-to-wear label with LVMH and for the second time, she had the opportunity to show the SavagexFenty lingerie collection at New York Fashion Week.

Rihanna and LVMH: A Monumental Alliance

The expectations for the presentation of Savage x Fenty by Rihanna were high, but, once again the famous singer exceeded them! It was the most electrifying moment of this fashion week. Unlike the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, this show’s emphasis wasn’t an idealized body type. It was just the opposite, showing women that the perfect body doesn’t exist, and we need to feel confident as we are. Savage x Fenty sells bras from 32A to 46DDD, underwear, and sleepwear in sizes XS to 3X.

Rihanna Savage x Fenty: The Show

The show lasted about 40 minutes and started with an impactful entrance by the famous singer herself surrounded with dancers, all dressed by Savage x Fenty, dancing and cheering up the audience.

Live performances, athletic dancers of all skin tones and sizes, and amazing lingerie were all incorporated in the show! The presentation showed huge female empowerment and body positivity as it progressed. All these performances were powerfully made by women for women. However, the show was not only empowering but also sexy, provocative and very entertaining!

The stunning event had special appearances from runaway regulars, like Gigi and Bella Hadid, Cara Delevingne, Joan Smalls. The famous people were also inspired by the show theme and rocked productions with intimate pieces crossing the black carpet of the event.
