Gucci Restaurant Coming to Beverly Hills!
After the success of the first Gucci Restaurant in Florence with three-Michelin star chef Massimo Bottura, the duo is planning to open a new Restaurant in Spring 2020. This time, in Los Angeles on the famous Rodeo Drive in the rooftop of the luxury Gucci store.
The team is planning for the restaurant to incorporate details from the past 70 years paired with new ideas to create a new aesthetic. The Italian fashion house wants its second restaurant to reflect a broader trend as part of the luxury brand’s overall goal to provide experiences to its consumers that go beyond clothing and accessories.
And something new rarely comes alone, so, Gucci’s fellow parent company LVMH, has also been eyeing Rodeo Drive. At the beginning of March 2019, they purchased a property with more than 50,000 square feet that those in the know are predicting to be a Dior Restaurant and a Cheval Blanc Hotel.
Gucci Restaurant in Florence
The first Gucci Osteria da Massimo Bottura in Florence opened in January 2018 and has been an overwhelming success. The restaurant’s home is behind the walls of the 14th century Palazzo della Mercanzia building. In November 2019, the restaurant earned its first Michelin star. Guests can enjoy Parmigiano Reggiano Tortellini, Peruvian-inspired tostadas, pork belly bens, and mushroom risotto for only 20€ to 30€ per dish.

Osteria Restaurant is part of the “Gucci Garden” which also includes a boutique and exhibition space. Alessandro Michele, the creative director of Gucci, was responsible for designing the Florence space. It is all adorned with shades of lush green and panels of plush blue velvet. He will also be at the helm of the design of the Los Angeles restaurant.
