What is your idea of perfect happiness?
Floating on a boat around the island of Capri with my family.
What do you consider your greatest achievement?
Raising two emotionally mature and kind boys while juggling a career. It’s incredibly satisfying to have both.
What profession does your alter ego have?
Human rights lawyer. Every time I see Amal Clooney in the news discussing human rights, I think to myself, “I really need to do something with my life.”
The project you will never forget.
A custom home we recently designed from the ground up for a young couple. They allowed us to create a detailed and curated home that is both youthful and layered in classic texture.
Your favorite business tool or resource.
Believe it or not… Instagram. I follow a lot of great design accounts, and the daily inspiration is great to keep my creativity flowing and inspired.
The most timeless design.
Neutral palettes are always classic and timeless.
The biggest design faux pas.
Art that is hung too high, and rugs that are too small for a space.
Your design motto.
Keep the bones of the house classic, push the boundaries on furniture and art.
If you were to design a room around one KOKET piece, which would it be, and why?
The Plisse Bed is an absolute showstopper that stands out among the endless supply of upholstered beds. The puckering upholstery is to die for. This piece will definitely make an appearance in future projects.
