The Met Costume Institute’s spring/summer exhibition is a highly anticipated event, and this year’s hit the mark masterfully! Launched following the annual Met Gala museum fundraiser (another highly anticipated fashion event!), Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion is a sensory experience through hundreds of garments and accessories spanning four centuries. Fragile Beauty: Photographs from the Sir Elton John and David Furnish Collection

If you love photography, this exhibit is a 2024 must! Marking 30 years of collection, Fragile Beauty celebrates Elton John and David Furnish’s passion for photography and their unique personal taste. Over 300 rare prints from 140 photographers (selected from their overall collection of 7,000+) compose this breathtaking exhibit.

Viktor & Rolf, Fashion Statements

Dutch fashion artists Viktor & Rolf have been creating breathtaking works of Haute couture fashion and art for over three decades. Their often unconventional approach has been embraced by top celebrities such as Madonna, Lady Gaga, and more. This exhibit showcases over 100 of the duo’s creations, along with numerous other ways to experience the brand, including scent.

This immersive exhibition explores the rich history and artistic inspiration behind the beloved scent, showcasing its evolution since its creation by Christian Dior in 1947. Sheer: The diaphanous creations of Yves Saint Laurent

“What does it mean to be a design museum today? Acquired! What’s On at Fotografiska needed to be a general listing here because both People, Celebrating 50 Years (on through June 30th) and Daniel Arsham, Phases (on through June 13th) are stunning and magically inspiring exhibitions. For People Magazine’s first-ever museum exhibit, this 50th-anniversary occasion is a must-see. People is a pop culture legend!
NYC contemporary artist Daniel Arsham’s photography will also take center stage at Fotografiska this summer, and we love it. A photography dabbler since age 11, Daniel is best known for his collaborations with brands like Tiffany & Co. and Disney. This exhibit unfolds a collection from the iconic artist’s personal archive.
