Launched in 2018, the Love Happens Design Questionnaire was created to look beyond finished rooms and into the minds that shape them. Inspired by the Proust Questionnaire, the series invites designers to answer a set of thoughtful, revealing questions—offering insight into their inspirations, rituals, influences, and personal philosophies around beauty, craftsmanship, and living well.

Over the years, more than 300 of the world’s leading interior designers have taken part, creating a living archive of creative perspectives from across continents, cultures, and disciplines. What unites them is not a shared aesthetic, but a shared belief in design as something deeply human.

In 2025, the LH Design Questionnaire conversation continued with a new group of voices. Here, we revisit 13 designers whose answers stood out—thoughtful, honest, and unmistakably their own.
